R5 EVF performance with EF 70-300 L IS USM

Hi guys,

I am considering upgrading to the RF 100-500, but I am wondering if that lens would improve a huge short coming of my experience with the adapted EF 70-300 L.

The viewfinder is really choppy for BIF. I enabled all the options for the best performing high speed EVF, but it is still close to unusable with the H+ mechanical shutter, once I start shooting bursts while trying to follow the subject.

I loved my 70-300 on my old 7D but it's too short on FF and the EVF is killing me.

Any thoughts? I am willing to get the funding for the 100-500, but only if the viewfinder is smoother with the native RF lens.

Thanks!
