I think the B&W and the Street forums are about photography as an art, regardless of what brand of camera is used.

B&W and Street... okay... but how would a discussion about say, Andy Warhol fit in this?

I am not aware that Andy Warhol have done photographic works other then as documentation of his other work. But if AW has done genuin photographic work, why not discuss it?

Warhol wouldn't go anywhere without a camera. Other than proper photographs, his pop art can be qualified as 'photographic' and often included photographs.

We could also have a discussion about what constitutes 'genuine' photographic work when it comes to art creation, such as the use of photos in mixed media art. Is photography less genuine when it is used along other media in a work of art?

For me, i think it is useful to focus on pure photography. No mixed-art and no collages.

What about digital editing?

It's a very blurry distinction these days.
