An Iphone I've owed for 2 years without a problem was updated to the latest ios.

The following day, turning it on, it froze showing the apple logo. I tried everything I saw as a remedy on the internet. I don't even remember all the different tries. But it just was stuck there.

I called Apple support. I told them all the things I had tried, and this young lady congratulated me on doing all the steps she would have recommended, and explained that now that I had "uncovered the hardware problem" that my phone had, she would be delighted to send me to Apple repair, where for only $600+, they would try to fix it.

I told her I would see Apple in Small Claims court. My G-D phone did not have its "hidden hardware problem" revealed.
