How would anyone know if anything they'd bought (camera, peanuts, elephant etc) was on that ship? And what has that got to do with this forum ? 🤔

If you read the forum regularly you might have spotted that people have commented on camera stores not having or receiving stocks when expected. And also that forum members are frustrated waiting for their ordered goods.

We knew the Evergiven had held up other boats for a few weeks, but I doubt many here knew that there are still 20,000 containers of goods that definitely won't be delivered for a very very long while yet.

Stock shortages are more likely to be caused by the drought in Taiwan.

The drought has limited the water supply for chip makers and the result is a world shortage of chips. Chips are used in everything including cameras.


Fish and chips are still doing OK.

That is why Americans eat French Fries, not chips.

The chip shortage is because of all the chips going into vaccines, not because of water. Taiwan is an island in the Pacific. "Water, water everywhere but not a ..."
