Z6II x Z7II and printing quality?

Let’s assume a HQ printer at 300 ppi. That would produce a Z6II or Z6 print 20” wide, or 50cm, more than enough for gallery display.

Now take same image, shot with same lens on a Z7/II, let’s take the res champ 50 f/1.8 S, so that lens is not the limiting factor.

There are a few ways to reduce the Z7/II print to 20” wide, think the optimal way, without changing printer setup.

Would there be a detail difference? My theoretical guess is no, but maybe someone has done it and knows the answer from a practical pov, or my theoretical guess is flawed.

Next, suppose printer output res may be increased, so that the file from Z7/II is not resized. Would that make a difference then?

I know these have been discussed hundreds of times around here, but maybe there are new takes on them.

Anyone’s help? Thanks.
