No keystone distortion when photographing artwork. Use a mirror...

I get pretty good results with my daughter’s art using an easel and a bounce flash. I just have to do minor edits to fix key stoning due to angle and then a little color and contrast correction.

Hello tkbslc!

An easy way to get an artwork (painting/drawing) parallel/perpendicular to the camera sensor and not having to fix keystone distortion afterwards, is to use a mirror when photographing artwork. In my respons to VintageGibson, I did explain how and why to use a mirror, when photographing artwork.
