Maybe I've not given f4 lens their due for zooming ... any experience ?

I've just always preferred f2.8 in my lens choices, with a few f2 choices (I'm a Canon user). Recently, I've started to upgrade to the new Canon mount, RF, and slowly swapping out my lenses.

When I think of the benefits of f2.8 or faster, it's mostly about low light and DoF/bokeh. I have primes that can do that, quite well. However, for a 24-70 or 70-200, maybe a 2.8 doesn't make as much sense as I am thinking.

So, if you've been using an f4 for the telephoto, have you found it spot-on for your uses ? Or, have you found f4 to be just a bit shy of your needs, and maybe you find yourself thinking, "I wish I had a faster zoom ?"

Thanks for sharing any experience !
