Some birds at my Banksia

It had stopped raining and the cats were indoors sleeping.  I got a chance for some photos of the birds feeding on the Banksia flowers.

The noisy miner was the first one.

I sent the large file by accident.

Some male blue face honey eaters showed up next.

They can turn their head around almost as much as an owl.

They are not as acrobatic as the lorikeets but they do OK.

The flowers produce a large amount of nectar.

Topaz is the old lady.  She is around 18 to 20 years old with arthritis  and doesn't care about birds.

The birds have nothing to fear with her as long as they don't land under her nose.
