Removing part of LX100 lens assembly?

Getting the dust issue at about 4 to 16 aperture (not sure if its on a lens element or on the sensor)... Already tried the water bottle vacuum thing while tapping the camera on my knee to no avail

Is it possible to remove just a bit of the lens assembly? It looks to me like the furthest out piece can be unscrewed.

If not, I might just have to use an ND filter (to avoid the higher apertures) at least until I save up for a professional cleaning. However I fear that I would have to deal with annoying depth of field/focus issues (it'll be going on a drone much of the time).
