It's a little frustrating when there are settings you don't want to change globally.
For example, I have several manual lenses. I programmed my adapter mount settings to reflect that.
If I want to have those adapter mount settings in a custom setting I need to add all those lenses back in to each custom setting and save.

Could you not have set up your adapter settings and then saved them into each of the custom settings (before you made the unique changes for each set)?

The thing is, I don't want to make unique changes to each set for those settings like mount adapter.
Those settings don't transfer when you move to a custom setting mode. You basically start from scratch.
Same for other settings like MF assist. For each Custom Setting, you need to manually set which MF assist you want and save. Even shooting mode (A, P, M) and focus mode.
It's a little disorienting when you switch from C1 to C2 and everything isn't set up the way you normally work because you forgot to configure and save.
Hey, I was in aperture priority and now I'm in C1 which is set to P!
It would be very useful if Fuji implemented some type of option to sync specific settings or go off a base.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are trying to do - but you could set up the mount adapter settings and then just save them to each of the custom settings - i.e. save all the current settings.

You would then have to customize the individual settings (C1-C4) in the way you want so it probably only makes sense when you are starting your configuration - but you would only need to set your adapter settings once.
