BlueTooth mouse with M1 Macbook?

I have an old Logitech wireless mouse plugged into one USB-A connector on HyperDrive Duo. Every time I sleep the Macbook, I need to turn off the mouse, or else the external display goes bonkers. It's probably a bug in HyperDrive Duo.

Does anybody have a BlueTooth mouse working on an M1 Macbook?

Also, many of them have an extra button below the scroll wheel, e.g. Logitech M535. Is this the middle mouse button? My old wireless mouse doesn't have this; pressing the scroll wheel often scrolls instead of middle mouse buttoning.
