Why go to Moab?

Because Moab is the gateway to some of the most picturesque landscapes in the Southwestern United States. Here are a few example of why I go back there every few years and explore more of this wonderful area.

First there is Arches National Park!

Balanced Rock and Ham Rock

A little East and North of Moab you will find Fisher's Towers, beautiful rock formation that is a favorite of photographers and skilled rock climbers.

Now go North from Moab then West towards Canyonland and you will come to the turn for Deadhorse.Sunrise at Dead Horse Point

Our next stop going a little north and West of Moab, CanyonLands National Park is a little south and west of Moab.  To get there you to go north to the Canyonlands turnoff and wind your way south about 10 miles, passing Deadhorse State Park on the way.

An overview vista of CanyonLands NP.

For a little more adventure head about 150 south from Moab and you come to Monument Valley National Park. You could spend days exploring this valley with it's numerous Rock structures and red sand dunes.

Early Spring with snow leading into the monuments.

Enjoy!
