Description of "Near Mint" by a Japanese EBay Dealer

Here is a description of a near mint item described by a Japanese dealer on eBay. Are there such different standards or did something get lost in translation? The lens I want is a Contax Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* 35-70 mm F/3.4 MMJ. It is mostly available from Japan.

“Total Condition;Near MINT Appearance; Appearance is beautiful. There are some threads, scratches, and paint peeling due to use. Tiny scuffs from normal use. It shows signs of use. *Please check photos. Optics; -Lens: Beautiful condition. There is no fog. There is a tiny fungus. There is no balsam separation. There is no scratches. There are a few tiny dusts. No problem in the shooting. Functional; It works properly.

Thanks,

-Charles
