Yes, and the memory card, card reader and USB port combination makes a difference to transfer speeds. I recently bought a Kingston Canvas Go SDXC card, which offers up to 170MB/s transfer speed along with the Kingston MobileLite Plus UHS-II card reader. I have USB 3.1 ports on my PC. The transfer speed is super fast - great for transferring large video files!
