Canon M50/ Rp viewfinder over-saturation

I’m in the market for a new camera and would prefer something light with reasonably good image quality. I’ve been testing cameras at local camera stores and I noticed both the Canon M50 and RP have very oversaturated, high contrast, yellowy EVFs in comparison to what the screen is showing. I’ve tested multiple models and they’ve all been the same.

Is there a way to improve this? I can’t seem to find anybody talking about it anywhere. It makes the cameras feel really cheap to me. I’m actually shocked at how bad the quality is.

I tried fiddling with the contrast settings in camera (as applies to the real image) but it seemed to make only a small difference. (Maybe I didn’t turn it down enough?)

Can anyone comment on their experience with this?

The Sony a6100/6400 in comparison had much flatter and more realistic colors in their EVFs.
I’m still used to the OVFs of DSLRs so to be honest all the EVFs I’ve seen outside of higher end models like the Nikon Z5 have seemed cheap to me. But the ones on the entry level Canons have seemed particularly bad.
