Never by a non-native lens for the GFX without testing it first or reading reviews. Some of them are truly un-useable and I haven’t found any logic to determine which might work and which don’t.

Thanks. The Steelsring is a smart adapter--the only one available for Nikon F AF lenses as far as I know.

I’ve just looked it up. It seems to be not too large which is nice but in my country it’s over $500 USD which is a very expensive adapter. 
it would be interesting to hear from someone who’s used it.
