OMG! Maybe the worst UI I've seen in a while but now I understand that once you've entered the page to edit custom settings, you can scroll down and down and down to see more settings. I think the functionality may be perfect. Thanks.
I have been using the X-T4 for several months now after moving over from Sony. Once you get used to the Fuji menus, they are quite easy to use, especially compared to the Sony system (great cameras but their menus are a total disaster in my mind). After my wonderful experience with the X-T4, I recently bought the X-S10 for my wife who is a novice photographer. I was initially dismayed when I learned that I couldn't save the 7 film simulations like I could in the X-T4. However, the plus to having only 4 custom settings in the X-S10 is that you can save all of the shooting settings in addition to a film simulation for each. This is perfect for my wife because all she has to do is select one of the custom settings (which I pre-named for her) and then click away. Personally, I like using the dials on the X-T4 to customize my image - it reminds me of the film cameras I started with many years ago. But I can see why Fuji developed the X-S10, which appeals to a different type of photographer, and broadens their market. I particularly found "John Peltier Photography" to be extremely valuable in learning the Fuji menus and for setting up both cameras - he has online tutorials with setup lessons for various Fujifilm cameras. These are available for a reasonable monthly subscription price which can be canceled at any time - I highly recommend his website as it really shortened my learning curve. (I'm not paid for mentioning his website- just a satisfied customer).
