You're location is a little off.

Mum is from Yorkshire, Dad was from Hants - they settled in Lincolnshire where dad was posted flying on an RAF V-Bomber squadron during the cold war. (UK equiv of Strategic Air Command (SAC) in the US)

So I grew up a Lincolnshire 'yellowbelly' but with accent input from both up North and down South

Now I've been on the West Coast US for nearly 20 years my accent is all over the place!
