I would be tempted to install DPP again. Maybe there is a privilege problem within windows because you created that new user after installing DPP.

Thanks.

Do you mean installing DPP on the second user's account? What then would happen to the DPP on the first user's account?

No, I mean install on your first account. The software may become available on your second account and work as intended.

There is newer versions of DPP4, depending what system you have, maybe download that and upgrade over your existing version.

Edit... benji beat me to this one.

Out of curiosity... Is your second account set as an 'administrator' account or 'standard user'? This might be causing your problem if it is the latter.

Thank you.

The first account is still existing on the same PC & it does not have any issue with the DPP.

The second account is a plain user, not an administrator, not even having login password.

Yes, I believe this is the cause of the issue, can not be for sure though. It seems that there is no such a need to change it to an administrator. I will have the same problems as the first account do, an administrator.

Now, the second account cannot be (not allowed) changed to an administrator. The only possible change is to change it to a Microsoft account. I do not do.

I now believe the cause of the problems is not whether or not the account is an administrator, not the Canon DPP. but Microsof. A plan within Windows 10, after 20H2, doing its best to guide users to use One Drive. The second account, therefore, will become the same as the first account soon.

Anyway, thank you for your goodwill to help me out.

You should use a local Microsoft account.

There is no such thing as a local Microsoft account. It's either a local account or a Microsoft account (online).

Yes sir!

Regards,
There is always something to shoot/snap, you just have to know how to do it and have the right gear.
