M63 (Sunflower Galaxy)

the conditions were a bit similar than for M51 the day before, but more stable, more hazy and with a bit more moonlight. On many subs the FWHM in the center was in the range 1.5"-1.7". After stacking, the luminance is around 1.9" in the center.

Equipment and acquisition details as usual :

200/800 astrograph with Zen optics + GPU corrector
ASI1600MM camera with LRGB filters
Luminance : 270*30sec
Chrominance : 50*30sec each channel
Preprocessing with SIril, processing with PI
Shot from suburban skies (20km from Eiffel Tower)

Given the conditions the goal was not to bring out the faint extensions of the galaxy but to resolve details in the center.

thanks for looking,
