The 300mm f4 PF on D500

Hi everyone,

I was in Ranthambhor National Park a few days back. Saw quite a few wild tigers. The trip came as a welcome break from the covid related anxiety and worries related to some health issues in general.

The 300mm PF is a nice lens indeed. However, on a APS-C body, when mammals come too close, it becomes way too close for any framing. If the mammal is as good looking as a Tiger, the excitement gets to me and some frames are all over the place.

Tried cropping one such frame. Not much else was required in post.

Do share your thoughts.
