C&C: Some thoughts of the GFX100s after 3 weeks
1

I had the GFX100s for about 3 weeks now. I use to own the GFX50R and the GFX100, both are exceptional cameras.

The best things about the GFX100s, is the IBIS and the compactness. I have a PD everyday bag 15v2 and if I have a 23, 110, 80 or 32-64 attached to the 100s, it just goes in the the middle slot. However, with the GFX100, I would have to detach the bigger lens.

The IBIS is a bit superior to the GFX100, and as I mentioned in another post. I can get to 1/8th sec, handheld. I hate to setting up a tripod and lugging it around, for me, it takes away from the moment.

The GFX100s has a great EVF, but I would admit, the GFX100 is better, but not a deal breaker. I missed the grey color of the GFX100. Overall, I am extremely please with the GFX100s and the 80mm and 30m. If I had the GFX100 would I trade it for the GFX100s, probably not. If I traveled extensively, I probably would. The 30, 45, 80 and the 63 coupled with the GFX100s makes for lightweight travel setup. Now put the GFX100s IBIS in the GFX50R with the same 50mpx sensors, I will be happy.

Anyway here are a couple of shots I took over the last couple of weeks. Most are from the Gettysburg National Military Park in PA. I posted them in the C&.C section because there are a lot of photos.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for looking and for your comments in advance.
