experience with 70D + 70-200 2.8 + TC III 2x

I share some experience with the new Canon Teleconverter vIII 2x and the 70-200 v2 f2.8.

I used to use a Sigma TC 2x (old one). The IQ was good but the AF was unreliable, so i purchased the Canon TC as a replacement. The IQ is about the same but the AF is better, not necessary faster but more consistent (on a 70D).

The 70D is bit noisy at higher iso so it's a hard to have optimum shutterspeed for scenes. I have the M6mkII which is better in that regard but this give a unbalanced handhold setup, on a tripod it's no problem. (need some r5 sweetness )

Here are some shots:

Hard capture with the birds wedding suit

+3 stops exposure compensation because of extreme backlit scene
