Exposure tips for X-t30 and multi-metering

Hello.

After loading a bunch of vacation pictures on my computer i have noticed that almost any of them comes out somewhat dark\underexposed even thought it's not that obvious when looking at camera LCD or a viewfinder.

I would really like to be able to shot with aperture priority and having correctly exposed jpegs, the pictures are OK after i add some exposure compsensation in post (or simply crank up screen brightness, but that wasnt the case with my previous camera system). Should i just basically permanently use exposure compensation dial at +0.6?

I've read about this and apparently fujifilm did something to metering that makes camera to behave like that.
