Settings to Photograph a kid running

Hi all

I would like your advice on what are the best settings when photographing my 3 year old daughter running and moving erratically while she plays. I am shooting with a XE4 and 50mm f2. The idea is to get nice portraits/environmental portraits while she plays/runs.

- AF-C Custom settings: The camera offer 5 custom settings that use different tracking sensitivities and speed tracking sensitivity. Which one is most appropriate?

- AF-mode: Do you use Wide/Tracking or tend to narrow down to Zone?

- Aperture: I tried f2 and f2.8 with a 50mm lens trying to get bokeh. Do yo close it more? I know the closer the easier to get in focus, however I am keen to hear what's the fastest aperture you are successful with.

- Release/Focus priority: Always Focus.

Generally I have been using Wide/Tracking and AF-C Custom setting Set 2 ("Ignore obstacles & continue to track subject). With this settings, my success rate has been rather low (1 keeper out of 7).

Thanks for the tips.
