Reasonable RAW Editing Steps

I've been looking across the internet for a structure/steps to process RAW files, I'm new at digital. Opening any of the software I have and staring at my images is useless as there are many things one can change.

I found this workflow and was curious what people thought. I suspect there may be no right way to do it. This seemed to make sense to me.

1. Lens Corrections

2 - Transform

3 - Crop

4 - White Balance Adjustment

5 - Exposure Adjustment

6 - Contrast Adjustment

7 - Color Adjustment

8 - Dodging and Burning

9 - Cleanup

10 - Sharpening
