Concerts coming back

advice for m43 shooters.

There was a old thread about concert lenses.

if you have more money than a rock star,

you may want to have the 10-25 and 12-100 combo will cover lots for big bucks.

What I would like to have with a small budget and a big bag

a kit lens

something like a 12-60, 14-42

a telephoto lens 40-150 is a good range, but this would depend on your venue if you can actually use something this long.

If you have dark concerts and like shooting primes,  you gain and miss with these.

a good mix of primes I like to take

one wide angle between 12-17mm

one normal 19-31mm

portrait style telephoto 35-50mm

if you think you are shooting long 55-85mm prime

I just got a new 85mm bright prime, even though my 42.5 can do that role abit.

I tend to like my primes faster than f2 with a modern body.

If you want to comment, remember this is the m43 forum, so there is no Pentax advise or other mounts that will also document concerts.  The advice may not work for other mounts.
