AF microadjustment alternative?

I bought a Tamron SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR DI for my Canon R6 from eBay at a very good price. It's an old lens, but its weight/price was very appealing to me. Now I have it, I think I know why it was so cheap. The lens can focus very sharply in manual, but when I use autofocus with the center point, the focus is way out.

If I had a DSLR I could try and compensate with micro adjustments. As this is mirrorless, I have no such option. Does anyone know of anything else that can be done in camera? Or am I stuck with manual focus only?

Thank you.

Canon EOS R6
