I shoot a lot of action, so I use Touch and Drag to only place my AF point, and not actually focus with it.  Then I use BBAF to focus, track, and shoot my bursts.  This gives me close to a 100% AF hit rate (with my M6ii) even with difficult subjects such as indoor basketball and outdoor nighttime bike racing.

However for video, then I’m happy to use Touch AF for acquiring and tracking my subjects.  Works great!
