By 'twin light' you mean the Meike?

The MK-R200 units are certainly more light-weight compared to the 350s, but the weight difference won't make much difference to me. Most of the times I m shooting macro, I opt to position myself somewhere (as I do have shaky hands - but not because of the weight!)

The problem I see with the Meike ones, is the diffusion, as my original intend to use this won't go

That's why I mentioned that my criteria is build quality and features. As for battery, I can see there are two options for the 350s - one with standard AA and one with a lithium cell (which is ridiculously expensive)

I just want to give the twin flash setup a go...

I've tried using speedlights on brackets, with the same diffuser you're looking at. It was so awkward, I went back to mounting it on-camera or just hand-holding it.

It sure it ackward. The one I ve got (for my single flash unit) is 15 x 12.5cm

I m pretty sure there's a 13 x 10cm as well. Even with that, it all adds up to the bulk and making it somewhat tricky to handle around foliage. But still, I want to give it a shot, see if the result is worth it..

I ve got a list of the parts, so I ll prob go for it:

x2 arms: I have 3 options:https://www.smallrig.com/smallrig-articulating-arm-5-5-inches-2065.html (5.5in)

or

or

plus adaptor: https://www.smallrig.com/smallrig-magic-arm-with-cold-shoe-1639.html

(for the flash to sit on)

I m thinking I ll probably go for the 350s, probably because it gives me the sense it is more expandable and compatible with everything Godox. And also because it is bound to be compatible with the aformentioned softbox which I really like (looks like fitting a softbox on the Meike R200 will be a challenge!)

But I m open to any objections on why I should pick the Meike instead!
