RF lenses are great... but I still prefer to buy EF in 2021

So, no doubts that Canon makes great RF lenses. Some of them have unique features, some has better optics (not always). But recently I wanted to buy a UWA for mine Canon and went for EF 16-35 IS, instead of RF 15-35. Why so? EF lens is cheaper, but my main reason is not even a price, but adaptability. Look -- I have also GFX system and I needed to have a wide angle for it, as well as for mine EOS R. And, in fact, I can adapt EF glass and in 18-30 range it covers GFX sensor. And 16-35 costs 850 Euro new. While Fuji option, GF 23, costs 2800 Euro new. Sure, it's better optically, but there is not a lot between them on f8-f11... even on bigger GFX sensor. So -- I basically can cover 2 systems with one lens. Why than not? I see it as a bargain -- 16-35 IS costs so low. What is 850 Euro for a new L lens in 2021? It's a peanuts. So yeah, great to have RF, but EF has a very big advantage -- u can use it on Canon, Sony, Fuji... even Nikon Zeeeed. Smart?
