Cameras You Regret Giving Away or Will Keep Forever
1

I am sure that all of us have had equipment that you have given away, sold or just tossed because you knew that you would never ever use it again. In my case, it is my Olympus iS-3 DLX 35mm SLR Film Camera - https://www.photoblog.com/rollfilm/2019/11/27/olympus-is-3-dlx-35mm-slr-film-camera/. It was a unique non-interchangeable lens film camera with a great lens. When we made our last move, I literally threw it out because I knew that I would never use it again. SOB!!

With regard to forever keepers, it is my 1961 Canonet - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9XlRmPCKmQ. Again, I will never ever use it but it is a great camera to look at and was a ground breaker in its day. I bought it when I was on a summer college trip to Europe and my Minolta A broke when I was in Venice. It is an automatic camera that would still work today as it doesn't need batteries but uses selenium cell to control exposure. It actually has a f 1.9 lens. Canon eventually sold more than a million of the things.

What are your biggest regrets and forever keepers.
