A1 - 30fps RAWs are 13bit
1

There is some confusion as to the exact format the A1 shoots when set to 30fps. I have previously claimed those RAWs to be 14bit. Which is how the EXIF labels them. Apparently during the Sony A&Q it was said that the A1 supports 14 bit only up to 20fps. Which is correct. What is relevant here is a limitation of (non-lossless) compressed RAW: "With compressed raw, you never get 14-bit precision. The best you get is 13 bits." (Jim Kasson).

So digging into the actual data (using RawDigger), it becomes apparent that the files are in fact the 13bit:

This is a step up from the A7R4, which only used 12bit during it's bursts (https://blog.kasson.com/a7riv/sony-a7riv-continuous-drive-mode-precision).
