Some different flies

It is a fly but looks like a wasp mimic

I didn't have my macro lens on the camera so I did the best I could.  When I came back with a macro lens, the fly was gone.  I may never see another one like it.

This species of dancing fly has clear gray wings and three black rings around the tail.

I found one that is almost all green.  It is one of the smaller ones.

This one has a golden glow.

Not a fly but I got to see how the crazy pattern of dots if made.

This very small beetle was taking bits as it turned.

I hope I get to learn more about this beetle.
