Blankenberge - photo essay and "ethical" question

Blankenberge is a town/ resort on the Belgian seaside. In common with most others on this stretch of coast, there has been overdevelopment of tall apartment buildings at the beachfront, to the extent that seen from the beach they look like a half-mile-long almost impenetrable wall.  One could say it's rather soulless.

But there are also some beach cabins and a pier, and beautiful dunes at the end of the tarmac promenade.

I wanted to capture some of these contrasts, and an atmosphere of the place, without showing the full overview.

Here's my attempt - I'll be back another weekend to add some more shots. C&C welcome.

1. Beach life / odd one out

2. Pier

3. Town symbol

4. Path in the dunes

5. Reflections in the wall

...and if you got this far, here's the ethical question: in the first photo above, there could have been a composition with the frisbee and the ball further left / closer to the centre of the photo, and hence a tighter crop from the right. If you had been there, would you rather have: 1) left them as they were and tried to get a composition (as I did), 2) kicked the ball /thrown the frisbee into another position, or 3) moved them in Photoshop?

You are welcome to reprocess my photos for discussion and posting on DPR. (Please don't use them elsewhere without letting me know first).
