Re: Classic Negative - X-T30?

But I really just wanted to use this space to complain that the X-T30 doesn’t have Classic Neg “built in” even though it is the same generation as the X-T3, and further, I don’t think the C1 “version” of Classic Neg looks that good. It does offer the simulation for any X-T30 RAWs by default, which is nice. I can’t say for sure since I don’t have an X-T3+ to play around with, but the in-camera Classic Neg images I’ve seen just appear to have a little something extra to my eyes. But eh, maybe it’s just greener grass.

If that will make it any easier for you, not even X-T3 you mentioned has Classic Negative film simulation, either... It was introduced with X-Pro3 - yes, still same generation as both X-T3 and X-T30 - but never brought back, even though there was a lot of speculation (and high hopes, never fulfilled).

Otherwise, I do find "Capture One" version of Classic Negative "good enough" - I can`t really say from the first hand experience how it compares to Fuji`s original, and the only drawback is I can`t take JPEGs with it in-camera (as I do sometimes share/print from camera directly).
