A bunch of goldcrest shots

I've been doing some spring cleaning and archiving of bird shots and came across a bunch of goldcrest attempts.

They are an interesting and at the same time frustrating species to try and catch. On one hand they are easy to find as they just keep beeping away non-stop and are not particularly timid. On the other hand they seem to reside in the denser parts of the forest where light is limited and are just the twitchiest little balls of energy. Hard to avoid having to resort to silly high ISO's and still end up with slow-ish shutter speeds.

The ones below are all shot with ISO3200 I think and then cleaned up with DXO PL4. G9 + PL100-400.

Cropped out the horrid background on this one

Clean backgrounds are not really happening with these birds
