My first attempt at a milkyway timelapse this year

This was up Logan canyon in Utah, on the way to a lake called Tony Grove. The top of the road is still blocked by snow.

I had several problems during the timelapse - first, after driving an hour to location I realized I left my sync cable at home, so this was my A73's internal intervalometer driving the pictures, and Edelkrone's headplus driving the motion. Despite my attempts, it was out of sync, resulting in some strong blur in the first half.

When the headplus's batteries died, there was no longer motion in the middle of each exposure.

Here's one still frame.

I know the color is too blue, but this was minutes before the sky was too light to see the milky way.  I think I'll be trying again next weekend, this time with bigger batteries and a sync cable. I still love the look of my Sony 24 1.4gm. I'll likely use it again next week.
