I'm using the FA on my K-1. A bit soft at 2.8, but becomes very sharp when stopped down a little. Some purple fringing can be removed later. Optically this lens is not ideal, but it is very good.

It is compact, and I like the built-in hood. Any additional hood increases the bulk of the lens and it is a nuisance to screw it on and off all the time. I prefer to have built-in lens hoods, even if these are less efficient.

The lens (IF) has a very quick AF, albeit srew-driven; it literally "hits" into focus.

I dream of Ricoh making a new 135, one with outstanding optical performance, but still f2.8 to make it as compact and lightweight as possible. And with built-in hood.
