Hello

We have a good variety of Wrens here in North Queensland. Most are brown ,(except the Fairy Wrens-which are very colorful) Most of them are fast moving.Here are a few.

The Large-Billed Scrub Wren  usually travels in small gregarious groups

Golden-Headed Cisticola ( grass wren)

Reed Warbler  (has black legs and is larger than the Scrub Wrens)

The Atherton Scrub Wren is mostly solitary and difficult to distinguish from the Large-Billed Scrub Wren.

The Yellow-Throated Scrub Wren  travels on the forest floor
