EM1 Mk3, LV and EVF display brighter image than scene.

EM1 Mk3, LV and EVF display brighter images than the actual scene. The OOC image is also brighter, now why is that?

By about 1.3 stops actually.

Live view boost is 'OFF'.

Why don't the LV and EVF display the actual scene the lens is pointing it.

This is particularly noticeble in dark scenes.

Example, a film camera VF shows the actual scene as dark, why not the same with digital?

WYSIWYG.....does not apply.

A nice simple explanation would be great, and, is there a work-around?
