I have the A6500, and I think the IBIS is pretty good, but then, it’s hard to say.  I mean, it’s a bit of an estimate, but I’d say it’s at least 2 stops.  That’s enough to make a big difference, IMHO,  if it’s not as good as other brand/models,, I don’t care, as I have Sony-compatible lenses, soooo..... for me, it’s just a matter of if it’s worth having additional stabilization.  For me, yes, as I frequently use primes and zooms without OSS.  Sometimes I do use things with OSS.

Would massive 5-stops be better?  Sure..  At some point, I think motion of your subject becomes a problem anyway.
