Here is the bevel that I added on mine. I've meant to paint it black, but laziness has gotten the best of me. The whole optic part screws out of the adapter body. I made a circle of tape to cover the glass and taped over the rest of it to avoid getting metal shavings all over it. I then used a metal file to add about a 1-1.5mm bevel. For me this was a relatively quick easy job, but I'm very familiar with this kind of small precise work, so maybe wouldn't recommend doing it yourself if you are untrained with files and such. I imagine a camera repair shop or someone you know who is handy with these kind of things could accomplish it.

This will help the tightness on the body, but reading your last reply you said that, "Infiniti focus is achieved just before the infinity mark on both lenses with the dumb adaptor, but I cannot get it on the Speedbooster. At the infinity mark of the lens, focus is about 3m away." This has me wondering if there is something on the back of your olympus lenses coming in contact with the front part of the metabones glass element. I've had this issue on some of my minolta lenses where the aperture lever comes in contact with the metabones element and I had to modify them to allow clearance to work properly with the adapter. I am unfamiliar with Olympus lenses though so I can't say for sure if your are encountering the same thing.

All in all I'm very happy with the metabones adapter, but the amount of time spent getting it to work properly has been annoying and wish they put a little more time in refining their design.

Thank you so much for your help with this Gimmorkus. I will investigate whether it’s my Olympus lenses that are to blame. But having used them for the past five years with the speedbooster on the X-E2 without issue, I have a feeling it’s the Fuji X Pro 2 that is to blame.

I don’t mind filing the back of the speedbooster myself,  but I will take your advice and  e very careful especially not to get shaving anywhere close to the lens.
