I asked this question in the past

Hi Gang
In the past I asked this question so I'll ask it again, Would you buy a Sigma camera with a Bayer sensor? It seems we're arrived at that point. Will there be another Foveon???? I know cell phones (the new Brownie) are killing the camera industry there for killing lens sales as well, there for not helping Sigma, but a Bayer sensor made by Sony, come on. What made Sigma Great was the Foveon. I know I've heard all the junk that, Foveon can't do high ISO, and has color blotching. To that I say cr$p!!! How high do you need?(oh look at me mommy I just shot a flower at 450,000000 ISO is skippy a good photographer??) The AF is slow, how fast do you need? I shoot skiers with my SD1M The SPP is slow, well maybe it's your computer, you think? Why does everyone want to spend, spend, spend the money on software? SPP works great, and it free, maybe it's the user? You think??
The new FP-L with the EVF reminds me of the OLympus and we know what happened there. Then there was the Ricoh moduler system. One thing I didn't mention, Video/Cine that's where we are headed. I'm old school, back in the days of film I shot Agfachrome, and the new Fujichrome at that time as they had a different look from KodaChrome. I got a lot more work because I had a different look. The same can be said for the Foveon a few years ago, I sold a lot more work because it had a "More detailed/different look" or so buyers said." The Bayer sensors all look the same no matter what you do to them. They're dull. The down side, I wish the Sigma's were smaller like my DP's I wish they had a EVF and a zoom lens. I hope we see two DP's with with EVF, tilt screen, one with a 24-50 zoom and one with a 50-100 zoom maybe a third with a 100-200 zoom. My wishes. If I were going to buy a new system at this time, and I'm not, I'd buy the Z system.
Well there is my Rant I was hoping for a new FF Foveon or a Fuji SuperCCD style sensor, but got a Sony Bayer sensor instead. Makes one wonder if Sony owns the Foveon now????????
Oh well I still have my gear as big as it is except for my DP's. I'm good living in what was.
Be safe but have fun
