It doesn't matter if no one ever makes any more new EF glass because the list of them is endless , the M system is a totally different matter .... If canon make a decent standard M zoom of the same quality as the 11-22 even if its as slow and do the right thing and put EFCS in the M6-II
1. even if Canon would not release any more EF-M lenses, there would still be all current EF-M, EF-S and EF lenses available. It would last for many more years.
2. I agree. A better standard zoom matching 11-22 in IQ and price! would be great. EF-M 15-50/2.8-4.0 IS STM ...
3. is EFCS really that important? When there is a fully electronic shutter?
3 , yes - the scan rate is pretty slow (bendy images) and of course indoors with low energy lighting , i`m sure those who favour non IS lenses have less of a problem but even the biggest M6-II fan on here (Alistair) said it even effected the 11-22 . we know the camera is capable of EFCS as its in the 90D but for some unaccountable reason, canon obtusely refuse to update the camera with it ..
RP is currently famous for only having EFCS, so that is the flip side:

So I guess that M6 mk II probably is the winner of f/1.4 1/4000 sec sunny bokeh competition.
I`ll never understand the logic of Japanese camera makers or apparent lack thereof in some cases - what do they have to gain by missing off EFCS off the M6-II ? when every other M camera ever made has it , it`s hardly likely to lose them RP or 90D sales is it ? .
