G9 new BIF settings

In a recent G9 BIF thread, https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4404985, David Lumsden suggested that the best settings would be those below which contradicts much of what the Panasonic AF Guide suggests.

AF SET: -2- 2 +1
Animal Detect.
Wide AF Mode
Preset Burst Mode
Quick Focus

I have changed my set as he suggested and my observations are this is the best. I had originally posted that it was difficult to discriminate between the various suggestions in the AF Guide but I am fairly confident this set really does work much better than other offerings. I tried including Animal Detect with these setting but concluded as I had done previously that it works but provides no advantage

I did have one concern that when I switched to static objects this set occasionally struggled. I may set up a custom setting to switch back to the AF Guide set 1 but it's not always practical to switch back and forth and the problem wasn't a significant impact. I did manage to include some against complex backgrounds.

Sorry that my samples are gulls but in these restrictive times you have to take what you can get. Thanks David for the suggestion.
