Hi Andrew, sorry didn't saw your answer yesterday

OP was stacking adapters. His dumb Fotodiox adapter shorted his electronic Viltrox adapter.

I'm stacking adapters too, same as OP.

The fault was with Fotodiox not Viltrox.

I understood on this thread that issue was maybe due pins a bit longer, not sure if the OP had back luck with his particular copy or if all Viltrox focal reducers are the same, but in any case there are comments of shorcircuit issues on other Viltrox products on Amazon, which leads me to think that the issue is on Viltrox, not on Fotodiox. The Fotodiox is a flat dumb adapter, I've got adapters flat too, here comes my worries.

If you have concerns, then post images of your new adapter on the adapted lens forum and ask for advice.

Will do, once the Viltrox arrives my home.
