First of all, Fujifilm THANK. YOU.

Also, thanks to Patrick at fujirumors.com for giving me the heads up that Adorama had the lens in stock.

I was gonna pre-order it, but rumors of a long wait, stopped me, but uppn seeing that Adorama had it yesterday, I pounced on it and picked it up just now!

Thoughts:

MkII

MkI

Metal hood vs Stepping Rings

Lens hood, screw in metal hood and hood cap, all included

When I first picked it up, it felt Plasticky, but so does the MkI.

Aperture ring is clicky, but firm. Not to tight, not too loose.

Aperture ring locks on "A", but I wish it also locked on f/2.8, as I usually shoot wide open.

Screw in lens hood included and I love it! No more double stepping rings, on my MkI.

Lens also comes with a lens cap and a cool snap-on cap when you have the hood on. I expect to loose this... It's firm when on, but I know me.

I love this lens! My only "cons" would be that it's not a f/2 and even though I love the screw in hood, I would've went crazy if it had a hood similar to the 35mm f/1.4.

So the MkI was mainly on my X-E2, X-E3 until I brought the 18mm f/2 (take the hate on this lens with a grain of salt), which replaced it. Now this MkII has took it's rightful place on my X-Pro2.

Included is some quick pics, slightly edited in snapseed.
