Re: M50 vs M6 mark ii vs 90D vs eos RP photography mainly

I agree. EF-S definitely looks end of life. Crop DSLRs are done.
EOS M / EF-M will be around for many years to come. At least as long as Fuji X and Sony E APS-C. I fully expect an "M5 II" any time soon - with 32.5 MP sensor, IBIS, higher-rez EVF siome time soon - because I finally caved in and got an M6 II. LOL
By my count there are even more excellent native EF-M mount lenses:
* 11-22 (better than EF-S 10-18 or 10-22 and any other crop UWA zoom in market)
* 12 Samyang
* 16 Sigma
* 22/2 (better and faster than EF-S 24/2.8)
In my opinion both lenses have pros and cons, so i've choosen not to use this lens as an example to my statement.
* 28 Macro (it is very good optically and useful, even at f/3.5)
Could be right, it's not on my list due to my lack of knowledge. I know there's a 35mm f/2.8 IS stm macro for ef-s. I don't know how this lens exactly compares. The 28mm is a bit more useful as a walk around focal length, however, the longer focal length and larger max aperture of the ef-s is more useful for portraits. Impossible to declare a clear winner here.
* 30 Sigma
* 32/1.4
Theoretically an EF 35mm f/1.4 USM mkII will be on par with this one.
* 56 Sigma
And 18-55, 18-150 and 55-200 are also "more than OK". Only 15-45 is weak.
Granted
EF-S and EF lenses I am adapting and find worthwhile doing so:
* EF 40/2.8
* EF 50/1.8 STM
* EF-S 60 Macro (outstanding lens!)
* 55-250 IS STM (only the latest version, STM)
I would add the sigma f/1.8 zooms, the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art and the EF 35mm f/2.0 IS USM here. The 35mm f/2.0 IS is the reason the 40mm f/2.8 stm isn't on my list.

I love 50mm (equivalence)
