Scott,

Remove the filter carefully, clean your sensor with the proper cleaning items and put the filter back in place following the instructions & you'll be good to go for next couple of years.

Hi, what are the proper cleaning items? Asking as my Q-H has some spots on the sensor. I have used Lenspen/Sensorpen successfully on Sony sensors, would it be OK on a Q-H sensor? Or is there something particular required?

Some people do it step-by-step.

1) shoot something white, de-focused.

2) use a "rocket" blower or equal

3) check image - repeat 1)

4) if bad, use a special dust-attracting brush

5) check image - repeat 1)

6) if still bad - use the wet/damp pad kind.

7) check image - repeat 1)

8) if still bad - send it in
